DBRecover for MySQL 2611
========================

Offline recovery of MySQL table definitions and rows from InnoDB (.ibd, ibdata1, mysql.ibd,
carved .page sets, disk images) and MyISAM (.MYD + .frm) files, without a running server.
No Java runtime needed. Free software: no license key is required.

This package holds both systems:

  Windows (10 / Server 2016 or later, 64-bit) dbrecover.exe dbrecover-tui.bat
Linux (any x86_64 distribution, static) dbrecover dbrecover-tui.sh

Terminal UI (works over SSH, no display needed):
Windows: double-click dbrecover-tui.bat, or run it in a console
  Linux: ./dbrecover-tui.sh
dbrecover --tui [path] open a file or data directory at start
dbrecover --tui --plain numbered menus without colours (automatic in a pipe)
dbrecover --tui --lang zh interface language: en, zh, ja, es

Command line (for scripts; "dbrecover" is dbrecover.exe on Windows, ./dbrecover on Linux):
  dbrecover --ddl table.ibd
  dbrecover --sql --limit=1000 table.ibd
  dbrecover --csv table.ibd
  dbrecover --count table.ibd
  dbrecover --sql --frm t.frm t.ibd MySQL 5.x / MariaDB
dbrecover --dict <datadir> --dict-export-dump-dir out MySQL 8 data directory
  dbrecover --drop-list --mysql-ibd <datadir>/mysql.ibd dropped tables (MySQL 8)
dbrecover --mariadb-datadir <datadir> --delete MySQL 5.x / MariaDB, incl. dropped tables
  dbrecover --disk-scan --disk-image disk.img --disk-out-dir out
  dbrecover --help all options

Everything is logged to log_dbrecover.txt in the working directory (set DBRECOVER_LOG_FILE to
change it). Terminal UI preferences are kept in ~/.dbrecover-mysql/tui.properties.

If the Linux files lost their executable bit (some unzip tools drop it):
  chmod +x dbrecover dbrecover-tui.sh
